The Dell PowerEdge T150 is an entry class tower server designed for small businesses, branch offices and edge deployments that need a reliable, serviceable server with room to grow. This SKU is built around the Intel Xeon E-2324G (Xeon E-2300 family) which delivers multi core performance for everyday server tasks, file services and light virtualization.

Storage is provisioned with a single 2TB 7,200 RPM SATA 6Gb/s drive in a 3.5″ chassis that supports up to four cabled 3.5″ drives (software RAID via S150 on many channel SKUs), giving straightforward capacity and an easy upgrade path to RAID or additional drives. The platform uses 16GB UDIMM DDR5 ECC (3200 MT/s) for better data integrity in business workloads and supports additional DIMMs when you need more memory.

Networking comes on board via the Broadcom 5720 dual port 1Gb LOM, providing dual gigabit Ethernet out of the box for redundancy or separate management/data networks. Hardware security and platform integrity are supported through TPM 2.0 (V3 where regionally supported), helpful for drive encryption and secure boot scenarios.

Remote management is handled by iDRAC9 (embedded) so administrators can monitor, update and troubleshoot the server remotely; Dell offers commercial support packages and this build is commonly sold with 3 Year Basic Next Business Day (NBD) service for rapid on site response.
