The Dell PowerEdge T550 is a high capacity, serviceable tower server designed for growing businesses that need a mix of performance, storage density and enterprise manageability. This configured SKU ships with an Intel Xeon Silver 4310 CPU and 16GB RDIMM DDR4 ECC memory for reliable multi threaded performance on business workloads such as virtualization, file/backup services and database tasks.

Storage is front and centre on the T550: the 3.5″ chassis supports up to eight hot plug 3.5″ drives, and this build includes a 480GB read intensive SATA SSD plus an internal DVD±RW for legacy media tasks. For resilient storage and higher I/O throughput, the system uses a PERC H755 full height hardware RAID adapter (supports RAID 0/1/5/6/10/50/60), providing enterprise RAID features and cache options.

Networking and I/O are business ready with the Broadcom 5720 on board dual port 1Gb LOM for redundant or segregated networks. Remote systems management and lifecycle tools are provided by iDRAC9 Enterprise (15G) so IT teams can monitor, update firmware and troubleshoot remotely.
