The Dell 330-BBXH Riser Config 0 is designed to expand the PCI Express connectivity of Dell enterprise servers. Riser cards are installed inside the server chassis to provide additional PCIe expansion slots for network adapters, storage controllers, GPUs or other server expansion cards.
This configuration includes one OCP 3.0 x16 slot, which is commonly used for high speed network adapters and modern server networking hardware. The kit also provides three PCIe x16 low profile slots and one PCIe x4 low profile slot, allowing multiple expansion cards to be installed in a compact server system.
The riser configuration also includes two additional x16 low profile riser boards, enabling flexible installation of expansion devices depending on the server configuration. This makes it suitable for environments where multiple PCIe devices such as RAID controllers, NICs or accelerators are required.
This kit is supplied as a Customer Kit (CK), meaning it includes the riser board assembly and required components for installation or upgrade within compatible Dell PowerEdge servers.
With its flexible PCIe expansion capabilities, the Dell 330-BBXH riser kit is widely used in enterprise servers, virtualization platforms, networking infrastructure and high performance computing environments where multiple add in cards are required.
