HPE Ethernet 10Gb 2-Port 560SFP+ Adapter High Profile (665249-B21)

The HPE Ethernet 10Gb 2-Port 560SFP+ Adapter is designed to deliver high speed network connectivity for HPE ProLiant servers used in enterprise and data center infrastructures. It provides two 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports that enable servers to connect to high bandwidth networks and support demanding workloads such as virtualization, cloud computing and high performance data processing.

Each port supports data transfer speeds of up to 10 gigabits per second, allowing servers to handle large volumes of network traffic with low latency communication. The adapter can deliver up to 20 gigabits per second full duplex per port, providing up to 40 gigabits per second of total bidirectional throughput.

The adapter uses SFP+ connectivity, which allows administrators to deploy compatible fiber optic transceivers or direct attach copper cables depending on the network infrastructure. This flexibility enables both short distance and long distance high speed networking within data centers.

It is powered by the Intel 82599 Ethernet controller, which delivers efficient packet processing and advanced networking capabilities. The adapter connects to the server using a PCI Express 2.0 x8 interface, enabling fast communication between the server and the network infrastructure.

The adapter also supports advanced networking technologies such as VLAN tagging, jumbo frames, TCP and UDP checksum offloading, receive side scaling and NIC teaming. These features improve network efficiency and help reduce CPU utilization in high workload environments.
