The HPE StoreFabric SN1100Q 16Gb 2-Port Fibre Channel Host Bus Adapter is designed to deliver high speed storage connectivity for HPE ProLiant servers operating in enterprise and data center infrastructures. It allows servers to connect directly to Fibre Channel storage area networks, enabling fast and reliable access to shared storage systems.

This adapter provides two Fibre Channel ports that support data transfer speeds of up to 16 gigabits per second per port. Compared with older 8Gb Fibre Channel adapters, the 16Gb technology delivers significantly higher input and output performance, enabling faster data access for storage intensive applications.

The dual port design allows servers to connect to redundant storage networks or multiple storage systems, improving reliability and performance in enterprise environments. It also supports higher virtual machine density in virtualized infrastructures by delivering greater bandwidth per server.
